Mathura Hi-Tech Theme City is a combination and reflection of the Braj Sanskriti and the town planning principles & technology to provide a sound basis to achieve an optimum standard of living.
The township shall be so designed as a balance between the ethnic architectural styles of the residential areas, hi-tech services with state-of-art standards for multi-function activities like commercial & institutional and tourism related activities. The City will provide a pure sanctified environment, with world- class infrastructure. The system shall act like a magnet for people who want to be at a religious place and still be connected to the outside world. The City would be distinguished by the cultivation of a genuine leisure, a quality that transfigures the adjective urban into a compliment “Urbane”. The dynamic mix of activities would make the city not only a city but also a celebration of life.
The Detail Project Report (DPR) for 1500 acres township has already been approved by the Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority and the land for the project is in the process of acquisition. Under the New Hi-Tech Policy 2006, we propose to expand the area of our Hi-Tech City from the present limit of 1500 acres to 5000 acres.

Theme City
The Chaurasey Kos Parikrama forms the guiding parameter for layout of the city: a proxy version/ replication of the Braj Parikrama along with the Vans, Upvans, River, Ghats , Sarovars, Kunds, Kunj gallies with some important landmarks in miniature form. We plan to have a theme-based city that will revive the culture and architecture of Brajbhoomi that would be reflected in its buildings and the environment.
The city shall provide good quality affordable housing, aiming at social cohesion and equity. The city shall be a destination for leisure, learning, rejuvenation of the mind, body and soul for pilgrims, students and residents seeking a life in harmony with nature. The residential sectors, an amalgamation of small thematic khands (residential clusters), are designed as per the architectural styles and features of the various towns in the Braj bhoomi recreating similar ambience of the period of Lord Krishna.
Tourism City - based on Cultural and Mythological context

The city would have leisure & passive tourism as one of its major components aiming at encouraging the tourists to spend their vacations and weekends here, at the Theme city.
The city shall accommodate the tallest ever constructed idol of Lord Krishna - a focal point of the city, dominating the landscape and over looking the river Yamuna, the theme halls and museum-depicting various facets about Lord Krishna-His philosophy & life, temples, mythological theme forests and gardens, resorts, theme restaurants and shopping areas, heritage hotel, family entertainment centers, spa, yoga and meditation centres, open air theatres, artisan's villages, cultural infotainment center and festival ground - Leelastaan , which shall act as major tourist attractions for the future city.
Knowledge City
The city shall house: The Gurukul – an international boarding school amidst the green tranquil environment creating an ideal place for learning, Centre for performing arts - to provide training in the distinctive dances and the raaslila that has roots in Brajbhoomi, Center for Spiritual Learning – where various spiritual organizations will have its centre placed in the city organizing different workshops and discourses for spiritual learning.
We wish to create an organized intelligent and scientific city that would be rich in cultural life and would be socially cohesive in nature. Emphasis will be given to create an intellectual and practical readiness for the users, scholars and researchers.
Economically Sustainable City
The City shall be economically sustainable. Besides tourism being the main economic base for employment. The city shall have features like:
Agro-based Industries: The agrarian park will enrich the space with their visual qualities and also create a natural setting for the new community. The resident community at the city would become a self-sufficient community by growing its own grain, vegetables and fruits in the organic farms by using latest agricultural processes and technologies.
Dairy farms-Gaushalas shall be a part of the city.
Handicraft Industry: The artisan's village shall house artisans from different parts of the country providing them employment opportunities and a platform to demonstrate their skills.
Business Park : The business park will consist of non-polluting industries and business that engage high technology, research and development (I.T. & software development) and high value-added knowledge intensive activities.
City with Modern & Hi-tech Infrastructure Facilities
The city would provide world-class infrastructure facilities - a place to leisure, work and live in. It will have synthesis of modern infrastructure facilities integrated with the culture of Brajbhoomi.
The infrastructure - power supply, water supply, sewerage, drainage, solid waste disposal & road network shall be provided with minimum standards in conformity to the concerned departments. In addition, use of alternative sources of energy with maximization of natural light and ventilation, effective public transport and electronic motorways, safety and security with latest centralized security system, wi-fi system etc. shall be provided.
We propose to create an eco-friendly, pollution free and energy efficient city that would provide hi-quality living environment with the protection and conservation of natural environment and natural features of the proposed site.
Heliport
A heliport, which would be first of its kind in the private sector, is proposed at the Hi-Tech Theme City, which would contain about 50 helipads and related facilities. Air route shall be provided to connect Delhi and Ghaziabad to the Theme city. This infrastructure would support tourism and thus would play a vital role in their long-term growth and economic health.
